Food Will Win the War with Rae Katherine Eighmey

Tuesday, September 14, 2010 - 10:30am

Hear the voices of soldiers, homemakers, farmers and other Minnesotans who led the state and the nation though the successes of food conservation during World War I.

This presentation features theatrical readings, evocative photographs and posters, tunes representative of the time and food conservation sample treats.

The stories and images are pulled from the new book Food Will Win the War: Crops, Cooks and Conservation in World War I by Rae Katherine Eighmey.
