Bill Dinon, collector and aficionado of 18th-century decorative arts and architecture, explores his favorite topic; quirky and classic colonial revivalism and explains why Mount Vernon’s distinctive architectural elements have been so ingrained into the nation’s subconscious for decades. Visual illustrations, film clips and examples of “genuine” reproductions will reveal how George and Martha influenced 20th century style.
