My Realm is the World: Stories from the Archives Mini-Exhibit Closing

On view Dec. 22, 2015-Jan. 24, 2016 (in the lobby of the Open House exhibit)
"My Realm Is the World: Stories from the Archives" is a presentation of new works by Christopher Saint Christopher, a Minneapolis-based artist known for his ornate and fragile hand-cut, hand-dyed paper images. Inspired by the Minnesota Historical Society’s collections of immigrant oral histories and images, Christopher explores the history of immigration in Minnesota in his new works. Through his study of personal mythology and storytelling, Christopher has created a series of portraits woven together by anecdotes and short stories selected from the oral history archives.
