Chocolate: The Exhibition

Bring your students to view the national traveling exhibit, Chocolate: The Exhibition.
From rainforest treasure to luscious treat — immerse your students in the story of chocolate. Students will explore the plant, the products, and the culture of chocolate through the lenses of science, history, and popular culture. The exhibit features experiments and hands-on activities for students, as well as Mayan, Aztec and 17th-century European artifacts, including items to find, make, and sell this tasty treat. Exhibition text presented in English and Spanish.

George Washington: New Views from Mount Vernon

Coming in 2011, the national traveling exhibit, George Washington: New Views from Mount VernonStudents will experience one of the most influential Americans of any generation, and learn about George Washington as a young surveyor, dauntless warrior, and presidential first. The exhibit features 18th-century artifacts, including many that belonged to Washington, as well as interactive exhibits and hands-on activities for students.
