How Does History Live Work?
Interactive Video Conferencing (IVC) is live two-way audio and visual communication between two locations with IVC equipment. In plain English: Your students can see and hear the person on the TV and they can see and hear you.
How Do I Get Equipment?
Need equipment? The Minnesota Historical Society has the capability to provide any school in the state of Minnesota with the necessary tools to be able to access History Live for free. If you are interested in this or would like more details please email us at historylive@mnhs.org.
If you are interested in purchasing your own equipment or borrowing it from the Minnesota Regional Telecommunication Coordinators, please visit this website for more information
How Much Does it Cost?
For every two classes you book, the third one is free!
-$75 per program connection for schools in Minnesota
-$120 per program connection for schools outside of Minnesota
-Sites must pay their own line and bridging charges (when applicable)
