Home School Days: Our Minnesota
Tuesday, March 12 & Wednesday, March 13, 2013
Join us for a variety of educational activities as we celebrate the opening of a major new exhibit: Our Minnesota. Designed specifically for the school age and family audience, Our Minnesota tells a rich patchwork of Minnesota stories. Give your children a chance to brave the depths of Iron Range mine shaft, visit an immigrant’s sodhouse, listen to stories in a Dakota teepee, trade goods at a fur trading post, take a ride on a streetcar and navigate the headwaters of the Mississippi River. Our Minnesota will also feature a new and improved Grainland experience for students and a giant 35 foot Montreal canoe. Come and join us for some historic Paul Bunyan sized fun!
