Museum Hours

10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday;
10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday;
12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday;
Closed Monday (open Monday holidays year round).

Due to popular demand, the 1968 exhibit will be open additional hours. This exhibit will be open until 8 p.m. on these dates: 2/4, 2/10, 2/11, 2/17, & 2/18 (other museum exhibits will not be open extended hours).

Three field trip packages are available to help your students explore the museum, sharpen their historical skills, and dig deeper into specific historical topics. Choose the package that best meets your field trip needs.

SummerTime PackageSummerTime Package

Play historic games, climb through a Grain Elevator, create a make-it take-it craft activity, experience a tornado, and meet a character from Minnesota's past! 

Please allow 2 to 3 hours for program. Program is designed to accommodate students in grades preschool through 8.

Museum Package

Select from MN150 exhibit different activities developed to engage your students in an active learning experience as they explore the History Center's Museum Exhibits. 
Allow 1 to 2 hours for this program package.
Fee: $5 per student

Museum-Plus Package

The Museum-Plus Package includes both a visit to the History Center's Museum Exhibits using one of the activities from the Museum Package, and a 50-minute classroom History Lesson. History Lessons examine specific historical topics and bring students in contact with the real stuff of history - documents, photos, objects, and more.
Allow 2 to 3 hours for this program package.
Fee: $7 per student
