Summer Time Package

Play historic games, climb through a Grain Elevator, create your own make-it take-it craft project, experience a tornado, and meet a character from Minnesota's past!

The Minnesota History Center is the perfect field trip destination for children of all ages. Register today for the Summer Time Package, developed especially for school age care groups.

Please allow 2 to 3 hours for program.

Fee: $6 per student (teachers and chaperones free)

Summer Time Package includes:

  • Past Play! Children play games from the Great Depression in this 25-minute outdoor program.
  • Admission to the History Center's interactive exhibits
  • Make-it, Take-it Craft Activity - "Spin around the State" pinwheels
  • "Get to the Basement" - a multi-media tornado experience.
  • Museum Marvels exhibit activity - each student takes home a photo!
  • A visit with one of our many costumed History Players.
  • Coatroom and lunchroom space.

Reservations

Reservations should be made at least two weeks in advance.

*Member discounts do not apply to field trips.

Please allow 2 to 3 hours for program. Program is designed to accommodate students in grades preschool through 8. Available Tuesdays through Fridays from June 12, 2012 through August 30, 2012.
