Teen Advisory Council

What is the Teen Advisory Council?

A group of teens recruited from around the Twin Cities to help develop events (a concert, a scavenger hunt, an art showing, the possibilities are endless!) for teens at the Minnesota History Center.

Look what's coming up!

TEEN TAKEOVER

Tues., April 30, 2013, 5–8 p.m.

Where: Minnesota History Center, St. Paul
Cost: FREE!

The nearly completed light rail corridor between Minneapolis and Saint Paul will offer new perspectives on Twin Cities businesses, people and neighborhoods now connected by high-speed transit. In anticipation of this event, members of the Teen Advisory Council have researched their homes and communities and reflected on recent and personal history in their neighborhoods. Explore the history and future of Minneapolis and Saint Paul through art, music and activities at this event created by and for teens. Adults welcome.

Featuring:

  • Live music by Beatrix Jar and the Melismatics
  • Photography exhibit
  • Souvenir activities and photo opp
  • Activities fair with teen groups from around the Twin Cities
See what we're up to on our blog.

This program is made possible by the Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund through the vote of Minnesotans on November 4, 2008.
